Thank you Engineer and T-Squad for living life on purpose with me!
It also helped that message from the stage yesterday at church was filled with a whole lotta Jesus' love for this girlies heart.
Do you ever feel as if society really could care less about the job title you carry from day to day?
I know I have!
But lets just say as of yesterday and going into today...I am recharged...on purpose!
To live out what the Creator of the universe has asked me to do...
1. Be in relationship with Him
2. Be wife to the Engineer
3. Be mom to the T Squad
4. Be leading others to God
May we know that our job titles as woman, wives, and moms are given on purpose from a Creator who knows what He is doing!
And I encourage you to:

A woman once fretted over the usefulness of her life. She feared she was wasting her potential being a devoted wife and mother. She wondered if the time and energy she invested in her husband and children would make a difference. At times she got discouraged because so much of what she did seemed to go unnoticed and unappreciated. “Is it worth it?" she often wondered. "Is there something better that I could be doing with my time?"
It was during one of these moments of questioning that she heard the still small voice of her heavenly Father speak to her heart.
“You are a wife and mother because that is what I have called you to be."
Much of what you do is hidden from the public eye. But I notice. Most of what you give is done without remuneration. But I am your reward.
Your husband cannot be the man I have called him to be without your support. Your influence upon him is greater than you think and more powerful than you will ever know. I bless him through your service and honor him through your love.
Your children are precious to me. Even more precious than they are to you. I have entrusted them to your care to raise for me. What you invest in them is an offering to me.
You may never be in the public spotlight. But your obedience shines as a bright light before me. Continue on. Remember you are my servant. Do all to please me."

I am so thankful for the Father cheering us on! He was reminding me today that He sees...He sees every tiny act of service...He sees the things that even my family fails to notice. Thanks for being sweet confirmation of that through your post. :)
aahh, what a difference a day can make - sometimes! Lord, we live to please you. May we seek to further your kingdom, right where you have us planted. May we truly desire to do, what you desire of us.
Hugs, Lori

Help! I'm having computer issues again! smile...sorry about all my posting! PTL, anway! Lori
At least my keyboard is typing, today!
You sound really charged up. I know the feeling. My youngest daughter invited us to their church yesterday and lunch afterwards (my grandson was playing in the worship and praise team band - that was a plus).
My oldest daughter whom we had just visited last weekend decided to come home on Friday and she and her boyfriend went with us to church also. They even went to lunch with us. Usually she leaves early on Sunday morning to get back home. I really think she likes this guy. She has never married and so far she hasn't found anything that she doesn't like about him. We like him too.
It was great having both my daughters together with us for Mother's Day. It was really special.
So glad your's was special too.
Amen!
And if we're doing all things for Him - as we should be - then it's OK if He's the only One who sees!
Been doing some Bible studies on secrecy in serving the past few days. This fits right in with what He's been saying to me. Thanks!
Just wondering...did you see this?

My fav quote in the video: "With admiration for the greatness of what you are building when no one sees."
God so often uses you to 'recharge' me. Your enthusiasm is contagious!
Hugs & love,
Joy
