No one knows about that day or hour, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father. Matthew 24:36
This verse has taken on so much meaning in the last few days since God revealed it to me in a new way, thank you Beth Moore.
There is only One who knows when Jesus is coming back for His bride. That is the Father. Not the angels, not anyone walking on this earth. Not even Jesus the Son. And if anyone should be privy to this information, I would think it would be Him!
Can you see Jesus sitting right next to God waiting in anticipation to hear Him say..."okay Son go get your bride and bring her home!"
I can barely sit still...this my friends is a beautiful picture of His love for us!

I will be speaking on Friday so a friend is honoring God by writing this weeks Friday Challenge. Come check it out!

I LOVE this as well! It IS rather dynamically mysterious that Jesus doesn't know. We wait for EACH OTHER!!
Oh, I just love the image you've created for me of Jesus waiting in anticipation for God to tell him- "Okay Son, go get your bride and bring her home!" I knew it was an exciting day for us---the very ultimate!!!! I just never pictured the excitment Jesus will experience as this glorious day comes!!!!!
Very exciting indeed!!!
And, unlike many a groom, He does not pace the floors wondering what to do with His time. He continues to intercede on behalf of His bride, so she be the very loveliest she can be. That's a very nice illustration!
We don't know when but He is coming...I think it's sooner than later. Signs of His return are around us.
I'll be back Friday.
I love the image of Jesus waiting in anticipation. Loving us while he waits... interceding for us... saving us!
Jesus return is what we are focusing on in these last weeks of the "church year" before Advent begins. As I prepare my heart for Christmas... I stand ready, prepared for Christ to return as we celebrate at the Great Banquet!!!
I'll be back Friday... praying for you during your speaking engagement!
What a beautiful picture of His love for us!
Praying for you as you speak Friday! I'll be missing your challenge, but I will definitely come by to see what the Lord wants to say through your guest writer!
Blessings, sweet friend!
Patients and anticipation not two of my best virtues...I'm like the little kid that cant wait. What a picture, waiting without peeking, not knowing, just so exciting for Dad to say OK...It's time...Go get her....I want to go......I want to see....Put in that perspective, it gets you pretty darn excited...Can't wait...Wish there was some way to make it now...:) I want to see, I want just too be totally in AWE.....His precious bride, so pretty, so in his presence, so loved, so, so perfect. What a picture of Love.

Hi Nichole! I have something for you. Please stop by my blog when you get a chance. :D
Instant gratification is something I struggle with. This post reminds me to relax. He'll be here.
That's pretty amazing isn't it? One thing I do know~I am ready to go!
Have a wonderful weekend!
Yes, this wedding picture is going to be beyond words. I can't wait.
And you need to know your words were so strong and powerful. I forwarded them to my mentor. She cried tears of joy. God used you to speak encouragement to both of us. In only 2 sentences. Thank you!
Praising Him for YOU!
