Friday Challenge

Good day, and welcome to the blog. May you know that you are loved today by a God who is able to hear your heart and restore and renew all things.

Do you know that God loves to talk to us? He loves to have a ongoing open dialogue with us. Did you know that there is power in prayer? You see we don't pray unassisted...thank goodness! He has gifted us with the power of His Holy Spirit to intercede for us. I have used the visual many times of the Spirit standing there tugging on His robe..."listen to your daughter, she is crying out for your help." Many times we don't have what we feel to be the right words, or even know how to pray, rest assured...it's okay...just open your heart to Him...and He will guide the dialogue.

So the challenge this week is to:

Pray

However the Friday Challenge this week is going to have a little twist. Below is a list specific prayer request that have been brought to His feet today. I am asking today that you "take one" and "leave one". Please take a request that is on the list below or that has been left in the comment section and pray. And then please leave one in the comment section. If you would like to leave one anonymously that is great too!

God cares about these things:

Praying for stay at home moms! It can be such a challenge to get up and do the same hundred things you did yesterday and so many days before that! I pray that moms around the world will gain an ETERNITY perspective for all the things they do!!

Prayer Request: That we see our life from an Eternity perspective: everything we do/or don't do will matter for eternity! I pray that we have wisdom to see it clearly and make the most of our days!

Oh, what a beautiful idea this is, Nicole!

I will be taking some of these to pray over today! My heart is especially tugged at by the marriage fighting for survival.

And please pray for one of my best friend's, Missy. Her father passed away suddenly yesterday.

Thank you so much for doing this! For allowing us the privilege to pray for these requests you have listed and for letting us leave requests!
You are a blessing!
Love you,
K

They are physically and emotionally drained. Please pray for peace and strength for this godly family--her Daddy is a preacher in NC.

Thank you!
Love ya,
Susan

I always look forward to your Friday challenges!

I will be praying for several of these requests, but especially churches under attack from the enemy. Our church is feeling that weight right now as well.

I actually have two requests. We have a team of 80 people from our church who just left on a Holy Land tour. One couple especially needs prayer. Margrid and Steve. Steve has an inoperable brain tumor and things are not looking good at the moment. The Dr's gave him permission to go on this trip, but they really need to be surrounded in prayer.

Also, my friend Melissa's Mom, Becky, has stage 4 cancer. Please pray for her and the family.

We have a God of miracles. Thanking Him for all His blessings,
Joy

Praying for woman trying to find her true identity. And the one trying to rebuild her life after addiction.

Pray for Ian(child) here in the Springs fighting cancer. Pray for Linda fighting breast cancer.

Indeed, I'm in prayer for churches under attack, and parishioners being scattered--collapse of unity! We need to pray for God's guidance as we seek to do His will through the church, not the church's will under attack by the world.

Prayers for Chatty Kelly's husband today as well as their whole family as he recovers from extensive rotator cuff surgery. Prayers for complete wholeness, freedom from pain....prayers for Kelly's encouragement in her caring and presiding over everything in her home.

Thanks for the focus, Nichole!

I love this idea for prayer Nichole.

I will pray for those who are addicted to drugs & those recovering and all that entails.

My prayer request: Is for my daughter who says she's a recovering drug addict. I don't buy it because her attitude and lifestyle hasn't changed. I request prayer that God would convict her heart and show her the most amazing grace there is to bring her back to HIM. And for her & I to reconcile our relationship.

This is a beautiful idea Nichole! I have lifted all of these up to our Father in Heaven. Praying specifically for the woman who went home lonely and for this nation, our leaders, and unity in the Body of Christ.

I would appreciate prayer for clear direction and financial provision. Thanks for your sweet heart!

Thanks for putting my brother-in-law on the list.

I will pray for Kimberly's daughter who needs freedom from drug addiction.

Please pray for my friend Christine whose husband died of a heart attack about a year and 1/2 ago...she is very angry with God and unhappy with her life. She needs Jesus.

I am praying for the woman trying to find her identity--praying that she will learn who she is in Christ--apart from her past, her fears and her failures.
