A Sacrifice of Praise

And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him. who have been called according to his purpose. Romans 8:28

I love you, Lord
And I lift my voice
To worship You
Oh, my soul rejoice!
Take joy my King
In what You hear
Let it be a sweet, sweet sound in Your ear

Our Father up in heaven
Your name is Holy and Sovereign
I know Your Kingdom will come
and I know your will, will be done!
For you have planned it up in heaven
and you will bring it to be on earth
Give us what we need for today
Please forgive us for our offenses to you
and we forgive those who have offended us
Lord lead us not into temptation
and deliver us from the evil one
For Yours Lord is the kingdom and the power and the glory for ever and ever-
Amen
For I know my purpose has not changed because of earthly election results...I will continue to Live My Life On Purpose!

Aaah...one of my three life verses (Rom. 8:28). The other two being Prov. 3:5-6 and Jer. 29:11. They are burned into my heart and give me strength so I call them my life verses even though I have many other special ones written on my heart.
Praise is a beautiful thing and pleases our Father!

What a wonderful prayer! Oh how the Lord is hearing the crys of His people. He knows the plans He has for us... He still reigns Mighty on His throne!

A perfect thought to end my night with. God's rest be yours this evening and in the morrow. I, for one, plan on spending lots of time with Him and in his Word.

Amen! Now I understand what a life verse is...I was confused when I heard people say that.

I would like to add you to my bloglist. Just making sure that is okay.

Love,
Nicole

I like to use that song in my prayers with my bell choir--that what we do, whether in rehearsal or in service is the sweet, sweet sound of our hearts, proclaiming Him as our God.

We bring the sacrifice of praise
into the house of the Lord....
and we offer up to you
the sacrifices of thanksgiving
and we offer up to you
the sacrifices of joy!
