Friday Challenge

Hello! Happy Friday! I am so glad you are here. I love to have fun! I love to see people smile, and hear people laugh. I more than enjoy hearing my boys giggle.

Life can get pretty serious and pretty hard at times for all of us.

So the Friday Challenge:

Is to have a Fun Friday

Do something today that is fun! Do something that will put a smile on your face, or make you laugh!

Or if you are up for it...I double challenge you to giggle today!

We are sharing a couple of ideas for you to jump start your Fun Friday

Play "Chubby Bunny". Play with your kids, your spouse, or some friend. Take a bag of marshmallow and see who can fit the most in there and still say the words "Chubby Bunny"

Or if you are privileged like I am to live with two of the worlds best inventors of fun. Let them lead you you into some fun! We played Underwater Sea Divers. The boys even had floaties!

If you end up taking the challenge today to have a Fun Friday please share your fun ideas!

May your Friday be Fun!

**See you on Monday as we continue our journey in Relationships!

So much fun!

I miss my boys being young. They are 23 and 27 now. We don't spend enough time together laughing.

In fact laughter is something our home has been missing since my husband became ill 6 years ago and is now unable to work.

I work WAY too many hours now to make up for lost income and WAY too few hours enjoying life.

I take on the challenge. At some point during this weekend I am going to laugh and have fun!

I'll let you know how it goes:)

I too miss my girls being young. They are 45 and 41 and we don't see them as often as I would like. The oldest lives in Virigina. My youngest (2 children) works so much and responsibilites of home and church we don't see a lot of them either.

My husband says I only laugh once a year. Sometimes I will be reading an email that is funny and I just laugh out loud. When he goes to work (part-time retired), I'm by myself so unless someone calls or I find something funny on the internet I don't laugh a lot. I'm told that laughter is good for the soul and body.

Have a happy week-end and enjoy your children while you can. Those years go by so quickly.

Thanks for your prayers. Yesterday I had no problems at all but today it's trying to creep back in so I just rebuke satan again. One day he's going to realize that I really mean it. My God is bigger than him.
From my heart to yours,
AliceE.

I went shopping with my personal shopper, Chatty Kelly. She says I make the silliest noises when I'm trying on clothes in the dressing room. I definitely had her snickering in the waiting hall. Can't help it. When the pants don't fit because there's room for a few good books down the back side, I just have to "say" something about it.

There is nothing so refreshing as girly giggles in the try-on room! I did need that today. (Next time, I'll have to do it with marshmallows....I can stuff them in the gap and......OK, maybe not....)

You all have an amazing, restful weekend!

Laughing is good for the soul! I laugh out loud quite often.

Did you know they sell LARGE MARSHMALLOW'S now? I mean really large ones! :) I bought them because I thought how fun they'd be to roast! The smaller-sized ones are always gone so fast. I wonder how many "big" ones we could stuff in our mouths?! heehee!!!

Loved your funny pictures!
