Wacky Wednesday

Join us today for:

We love this day at our house. It is filled with all things wacky. One of the key elements is that we wear wacky non-matching socks. Which the boys just love!

Then we feast on yummy waffles for breakfast.

We will most definitely be getting wet in water, going for a walk. And another of the favorites is the "W" treasure hunt, where we search through the house for all the things that start with the letter "W".

We will also read the book titled Wacky Wednesday, on each page you get to point out all the wacky things in the picture.

My boys are still young, so as they get older Wacky Wednesday will need to be tweeked a little, but it is a day that their mommy will not be able to get rid of. This day is just one way we live life on purpose in our house. We are learning, having fun, and being silly all at the same time.

So today if you need to laugh, come join us and have some fun!

It would be wacky for me to NOT eat waffles for breakfast!

I like that this wacky is not too over the top. This is probably why I'm not known for my wackiness, because I haven't figured out how to do it without going overboard.

Mismatched socks? My daughter does that all time. I could do that. Letter searches in the house? Everyone could get into that.

I probably need a Silly Saturday, instead of a Wacky Wednesday, but that might bring about a few more smiles--and that has a lot of purpose, you're right!

What a cute idea to have a theme for each day and play with your kids. I already "borrowed" Tickle me Tuesday from you (that was from you, right?) and now I may need to "borrow" Wacky Wednesday. My kids would love it; Brandi already wears socks that don't match!

Ha! You remind me of Mrs. P at Patterson 5. She is always having this wonderful theme filled days at home. And Sue J even has theme filled vacations.

I think I am a boring mom. *SIGH*

Though my kids are grown now we still attempt to do fun and silly things when we are together.
Sounds like you have lots of fun together.

Hehe, I'm so laughing right now since I commented on the socks at church. Thanks for the hair compliment I love it and it's super easy so yup it's just right for me! I would love to pencil you in coffee one day this week - I sure like spending time with you - let me know your open times I'm working Mon and Tues ALL DAY but other than that I'm open.
I sure am fond of you!
