Under Construction

Update: Hey thanks everyone for extending this girly some grace! Can I just share one more little thing that might just shove the Engineer over the edge...I totally spaced my Federal Court Jury Summons...oops...he's just trying to keep me out of the jail cell...Oh Jesus the Engineer sure is earning the jewels that will go in his crown!

Hello and welcome to the blog and the life of a girl who is under construction. Can I just say I have officially got myself in a great big huge situation!!!

Oh friends please allow for some grace on this one...I have made a huge mess of this here blog...I was trying to do some updates you know...'freshin' it up a tad?!?!

Well I need your help friends...one thing I have gone and done is lost the blog list...which means I need you to leave a comment so I can add you back on!!!

Oh and anyone else have a few spare minutes to bring some sanity to me...well mainly the Engineer who has to live with me...who knows from daily life experiences that I tend to 'design' big (new header, adding some tabs, linking it to my website, updating colors) and then I can't figure out how to use the hammer to build what I have designed. Anyone feeling his pain...or mine?

That's my life...under construction...and today I am thankful for a Jesus who holds the plans and the design in His very hands!

Does anyone have any 'blogger' design expertise they would like to share...you will be MORE than appreciated...by this 'under construction girly' and her Engineer!

Love to you friends!

On Purpose,
Nichole

I've done that before. Was really light on the reading there for a while...

Here is mine blog to add back.

I've tinkered with changing some font defaults and color defaults, changed column widths but I couldn't tell you how I did it. Outside of just tinkering so I'd be no help to give you directions. And I'd never want access to your blog and tinker as I'd feel terrible if I messed it up.

I do know that scrappin blogspot has some really nice layouts for free. I'm sure you could use one of those and then add the links and tabs. The cool thing is you can change the layout with other ones as the times/seasons change.

Make that scrappinblogs.blogspot.com. There is a S in scrappinblogS.

I'm just a tinkerer when it comes to blog stuff, so I'm no help either! Whatever you do, I'm sure it will look lovely! :) Just don't let it drive you too crazy! I know I have stayed up WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY too late before trying to work on my blog! :)

Love ya'!

Well, here's my blog. Go to Edie's at http://richgift.blogspot.com/. She is giving away a makeover. All you have to do is give her a verse of scripture, and tell her you want to be included and oh, yes mention that I sent you.

Do you use the Feeds? I have everyone on my Blogroll in Feeds as well which makes it easy to go to their blog and copy their address.

Look forward to your new design.

I love the blue and the casual "girlfriend" feel here, Nichole. And you still had me somewhere to add me back to your roll! Sweet!!

My big suggestion would be to lose the red. I just don't think it plays off your sweet blues as well as something else--more light blue, cream, white....

Edie can help you with html edits, if you really want to lose the pre-programmed Blogger formatting.

Of course, what always shines is your genuineness, candidness and Godly focus! Hang in there, friend!!

Hi Nichole! Wow I hope the Federal Court Jury situation doesn't become a big problem. Eeek!

I was thinking when I got here how nice your new colors are! Your timing is good though. Like Alice said, I'm having a blog makeover give-away at my graphics blog. http://richgift.blogspot.com/ Winner gets a complete custom face lift for their blog. Come on over and enter. I would love help you out sweetie.

Thanks for the birthday wish! Much love to you!

This is the exact reason it took me so long to even start a blog. I was so afraid of messing up and not being able to fix it on my own.

PS I love the new picture.

Well, this is looking beautiful my friend...just like you.

Don't get discouraged. "Let us not lose heart in doing good, for in due time we will reap if we do not grow weary." Galatians 6:9

Hope you can get all the techy stuff figured out soon.

Hugs,
Joy

Ahh, as i opened up to your page I felt a feeling of calmness and peacefulness as I looked at your beautiful picture! Just what we need to be reminded of in the ever-so business of our days! To pause and focus on our Father! I love your new look! Sorry, I can't help with any techno stuff-the reason why I've yet to begin a blog myself! Patience tho...what a difference a week can make.

Hugs,
