Only He is the Answer

Thank you for joining me today...as today follows yesterday and my heart is still hearing Him!

My questions come from a heart that desires to know Him more.

Understand? No!

Know? Yes!

A knowing that is not of me but rather a filling of Him.

An asking of my questions.

Asking the questions, so as to empty myself.

An emptying of myself.

Empty. Nothing. So He can fill. Fill with more of Himself.

More of His love. More of His peace. More of His patience. More of His self-control.

It is in our relationship, a relationship in which I desire to be a child. His child. I have nothing to give my Father. I come, fully dependant on Him. Dependant on Him for everything. I learn by asking and experiencing.

Only He is the answer.

Ask, and you will receive. Search, and you will find. Knock, and the door will be opened for you. Matthew 7:7 (CEV)

Oh yes! Your answers Lord are the only ones that matter. More of You Father God. Yes, LORD.

This morning I was listening to Chris Sligh's song, Empty Me.

"Empty me
Of the selfishness inside
Every vain ambition
And the poison of my pride
And any foolish thing my heart holds to
Lord empty me of me
So i can be
Filled with you"

Oh that I would be filled with Him!

I love that God is not afraid of our questions, or knocked off His throne by them.
And when we come to the point of understanding that HE is the answer, what peace fills our souls.

Thank you for your transparency, for demonstrating a heart surrendered to God.

And thank you for the prayer you left for Allie yesterday. Haven't seen an update yet this morning, but last night there weren't nearly enough platelets. Room for questions, yes. But God is good and HE knows what He's doing.

May His peace reign in you today.

Yes, I feel the same, a closer walk with Jesus. To be able to hear that still small voice. I know I am protected by the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. He has proven that over and over again in my life.

So many questions yet left unanswered...sometimes it is meant to be that way...as it does draw us to just sit at His feet!

Trusting, believing, knowing that 'birth pangs' bring us closer to that glorious day!

Thank you for your words dear Nichole! My desire also~ "Fill with more of Himself." Everywhere in me. Every little nook and cranny, every space. Aahh, to be filled to the brim! Oh, to know Him more and more each day. Daily...MORE!

Hugs and prayer's coming your way! Lori
