Where are you?

Where are you physically?

Where are you emotionally?

Where are you spiritually?

I was driving down the street this morning with my little guy in the back...in his car seat pretending to be Spider Man shooting webs...and God and I had this amazing moment.

A moment in which He so graciously reminded me that no matter where I am, He is there.

Where are you?

Overwhelmed at the length of the to-do list?

Stressed at trying to figure out how to make ends meet this month?

Questioning your purpose?

Tired of playing the roles you have been assigned?

In a lot of physical pain?

Worn out?

He reminded me this morning in the car that He has been there, is here and will be there.

Where has He been?

He was there at the beginning. He was there to lead His people through the desert. He was there when His people needed delivered. He was there when the Sea needed parted. He was there when His people walked into the promised land.

Where has He been?

On a cross.

Where is He now?

Standing beside you. Holding your hand. Lifting your chin. Wiping the tears from your eyes. Breathing life into you. Filling you. Restoring you.

He SO desires to be where you are. He loves you!

Are you aware of His where?

May we know that where He is, is truly where we need to be.

So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. Isaiah 41:10 (NIV, emphasis added)

Earlier this afternoon I was wondering where I was, what I was supposed to be doing and some of the othe things you mentioned. Your right God was right there with me. We have just changed to satellite TV and I was watching TBN tonight which I had only seen a few times but tonight I really listened to the Pastor's wife (can't remember her name) who was talking about the people in Haiti and how much she love those people. The whole program was so powerful. I felt so close to God and felt His presence. One person talked about what Jesus said when you've done these things for the least of these you have done it for me. I had not been posting a lot because I just was not hearing what God was saying. I may not be able to write like some people do but I do have a voice and I just need to listen to my Lord and follow His leading.
Thank you, Nicole, for your word. God is with us as long as we stay close to Him.

Yep. I am, or have been, in each of those places. So thankful that He is always there, too.
And God covered all this with you while you were driving, eh? I love that HE even goes on errands with us! *grin*

Two places He has been very specifically in my life recently....wiping my tears and restoring me.

I am soooooooo thankful for His tenderness with me. His patience with me. His love for me. And His presence...it truly is a gift I need to ponder more. I mean, what is one of the worst feelings in this world? Being abandoned. Being rejected. Being left alone. But He does not do that.

A beautiful reminder, friend!

You've managed to do it again my sweet & dear friend. This is just exactly what I needed to read. I know it all. I've cried out to him all day long, but still sometimes days can be hard. It's one of those days and you've reminded me the truth to hold on to and cling to. He is with me, holding my hand, lifting my chin up & wiping the tears from my eyes. Restoring me. Thank you Lord. Day after day. Morning after morning. You will be with me giving me just what I need.

Hugs, Lori

Where I am is between exhaustion, overwhelmed, at peace, and in physical pain. Thank God for the peace that resides within the other three. With him at my side, I can make it through. Been a very busy week; ready for a change.
