Give and Take

Do you feel like something has been taken away from you?

Or maybe...

Do you feel like you are waiting for God to give you something?

Is it too much to say we can probably find ourselves in one of these positions?

Dealing with the missing.

Or maybe...

Waiting to get.

Do we believe there is blessing in both positions?

I want to encourage you to join me today...I am listening to this song...and lifting my eyes to the One who I believe does Give and Take Away.

Oh, yes, my friend!
There IS blessing in both positions. And God is worthy of praise in each, as well.
Because everything He does is good. And I am so glad HIS goodness does not depend on my understanding. *ahhh*

One of the many reasons I love God is that no matter what we give Him we always get more back. The more I love Him the more I feel His love. The more I spend time in His presence, the more I feel His presence. He is always a good God even when life can be so very difficult.

Yes, He does give and take away and sometimes He sends away!!! But in all positions He is blessing!

This song has always been very touching to me! It so sums up what it means when I say I trust in Jesus - I trust him in a land that is plentiful, and when I've been found in a desert place. I trust him. When the sun is shining down on me, and still on that road marked with suffering, when there is pain in offering myself up to him fully surrendered. Still, his name is blessed! Whenever I sing it, I tear up as it's my hearts cry - let these words be true and lived out in my own life! Thanks for the reminder.
