Friday Challenge

Hello and welcome to the blog today. I want you to know you are loved by a God who thinks you are the greatest thing He ever did! So take that love He has for you and share it with those around you and just wait and see what happens!
Today I am challenging us to love on the people around us.
Go out and look for people that need to be loved on.

And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds.
Hebrews 10:24

So funny - I did this today. I was extra nice and "loving" to the cashier at Walmart and when I left she seemed less harsh and even called me honey.

I accept your challenge for today, and every day here after! Amen.

I was just thinking the same thing....After taking the spiritual gifts test and confirming for the 5ooth time that Mercy and helps/ministry/serving are obviously my strongest gifts....I have been praying to figure out how I could use them...
I went to the market this morning and it was about to storm....there was an older woman with tons of groceries walking to her house....I stopped and asked to take her home (I never do that-not safe)she got in and just before we started to pull off it started pouring down. She looked at me and grinned and said, "Did God tell you to pick me up?" I just smiled back and said yes, he sure did.

You tell it, my friend. Such a simple act, so why don't we do it more often.

Thank you for the beautiful sentiments you shared with our daughter on her blog. Your comments led us to your blog, and we quickly learned that your heart is as kind as your words. Thank you for listening to the still small voice that told you to share your heart with a stranger, who very much needed your words of love and encouragement. You are living as a disciple of Christ - what more could one hope for in life.
With love and appreciation,

This was a great challenge! We can get so very busy that we don't always take the time to stop and consider others. Thanks for the reminder. I'll be looking for opportunities this week to love on others.

Hey girl!
Just wanted to stop by and say hi and tell you that I appreciate your sweet comments on my blog. You blessed me by speaking my "love language" of words of affirmation!
