This ain't easy

Dear Father God, are you sure you want this girl? I don't know your word like Beth Moore does! I know you have asked me to get in the pool but I feel like the water is right at my chin. Is that Your hand keeping my head up and my eyes on You? Life is very real for me right now, yeah I know its because you have called me to it. I desire to let the women I speak to, see You. I want them to see You and Your love for them. I want them to know You. I want them to be in relationship with You. What if I stumble? Am I worried about details? Am I trying to keep control of something? I know You are wanting submission, all of me; my control issues and pride, oh and even my weakness! Please remove the veil I keep throwing over my eyes and help me to see only You. Thank you for not leaving me alone in this deep pool! I love you Lord-Amen

Great prayer. I feel like I'm swimming up stream in this life sometimes. I try so hard to swim in the direction of the Lord; yet the world's currents keep pulling me back. It's a daily struggle with holiness. We'll get there, one day at a time and sometimes one moment at a time.

Praying with you and for you!

And all God's people said in agreement "AMEN!"

That is, I feel this way too about myself!

When worry whispers, "God doesn't know what you need" remember God promised to "take care of every thing you need" PH 4:19
Jesus taught us to pray, "Give us this day our daily bread" we will only get what we need for today, nothing more, nothing less..Worry not for your
father will give you your daily allowance..

God is faithful to answer His children when they pray. Be still and know that He is God.

You are a precious sister in the Lord, there is only one you! He loves you just the way you are. That's the best part, While we were yet sinners, He died for our sins. We can't earn His love or approval, just let yourself be immersed in Him and His love.

Love!

Interesting analogy. Just the other day while encouraging myself to step into the rapidly cooling pool- taking deep breaths with each step into the depths of cool water, I compared my experience to trusting God. First steps are hard, but soon it feels so refreshing. Then I wonder, why do I resist stepping into constant communion with Him?

Recently we were studing with the kids about when Peter got out of the boat and walked to Christ. My middle child asked, why was it only Peter that got out why not the other eleven too? We asked him- What do you think? He said, "Maybe the others were scared." We asked, Do you think Peter was scared? (silence) "Would you be scared?" "Not if Jesus told me to come out." Faith. You have faith-you got out of the boat!!-your prayer to see only Him is just what you need. Keep your eyes on Him during this time of rough waters. I will be praying for you and your ministry for Christ.

You have such a sweet and beautiful heart for the Lord and for others! You are an encouragement to me. And the Word says that "he who refreshes others will himself be refreshed." (Proverbs 11:25) May you be refreshed today as you so often refresh me!
