The need to Process

Thank you for your prayers. The appointment with the Neurologist brought information to us yesterday, which leads us to the need to process all of it. There are some questions answered, yet the information brings us new questions. God has spoken to my heart over the past 24 hours and I am sticking to Him very close. I have to be honest in this post. I struggled for many weeks on whether or not to share what was physically going on with me, on here, or even with friends and family. Why did I struggle? Well I think it was for many different reasons, one being I didn't want to burden anyone else, I did NOT want to be the focus of this blog, it is my hearts desire that He get all the attention, oh and I tend to hide behind a mask of pride I have created for comfort! When I did share what was going on it was because God asked me to show that He was with us in the middle of all this, and that He was working. I know He led me to share. I am praying and asking God to lead me through every moment of this journey. Please know He is bringing answers and working in this situation. I am very overwhelmed at the fact that I am living my life in front of everyone at this moment. Yeah sharing on your blog will do that...huh? God is leading each step with His love and grace. We are in conversation and I know He will lead me in obedience in every step. I am praying for His will to be done. I am praying that He will be the focus and that He will heal what needs to be healed. Please know that I am sharing what my heart is able to at this time, and trusting He has a hold of the rest.

‘the righteous will live by faith’ Galatians 3:11

"Thank You Lord for reminding me that I didn’t, can’t and won’t ever get it right, and that’s okay because You did, can and will! Thank You for loving me so much to keep me close and continuing to teach me the truth of Your amazing grace filled love for me."

Oh Nichole I can soo hear your heart in this post. You are definetly pointing to Him, and there is no question in that. Share what you feel lead to share, and the rest is noone else's business. You are so incredibly loved not just by our incredible daddy in Heaven, but by so many here in blogland. There is a reason and time for every season we go through. Glad you have gotten some answers. Praying. I feel lead to share with you my new favorite quote:
"What really matters is what happens in us, not to us". -James Kennedy

Love ya,
Nicole

1 Thess 2:8
"We loved you so much that we were delighted to share with you not only the gospel of God but our lives as well, because you had become so dear to us."

SHARE OUR LIVES AS WELL. Why? Because "we loved you so much."

Nichole we are here for you. I already have you on my prayer list. Share only what you feel led to share and remember too that God gave you friends and family to encourage, help, and pray for you.

Love you girl!!

Nichole, I too have struggled with sharing personally, so caught between being real and honouring Christ by what I write and say. I can only encourage you and say that as I've found freedom to truly share my heart, I have been received with so much love and understanding and God has been glorified through the journey I am on.

John 9:3 says, "this happened so that the work of God might be displayed in (her) life." When we hide our struggles, we miss giving others the opportunity of seeing God's Hand at work in our lives.

Continuing to pray for you. The Lord is able to do above and beyond what we can imagine.

Love ya,
Joy

"..A comfortable mask of pride..."

Are you reading my mind again?....be careful in there...things get kind of crazy!

Your post was inspiring to me before you opened up about yourself, but even more so now.

Still praying.

Trust and Obey for there is no other way to be happy in Jesus but to trust and obey.

Nichole, I so understand your desire to keep your blog all about God. I have longed for that for almost a year. Only in recent months did I begin to hint to parts of my life. Only recently have I posted pieces that I [stress I] felt was too much about me even though most all of those have been to praise Him. I still was not comfortable sharing so much of myself because I never want my blog to be about me. I've had to accept this revelation...that by sharing our hearts, pains, struggles, trials, we are sharing Christ with others. We are witnessing to others through sharing our hearts and struggles. Witnessing and ministry doesn't always mean directly feeding another with the word or sharing a three-point Gospel. Sometimes, it means sharing our hearts so that others can relate. We plant a seed when another feels understand and not alone by hearing our stories. It's all about motive...He can use anything we lift up to Him. I know you know that. I trust He will lead you in what you shall continue to share with your loving blogging world. Remember, it is an honor to be able to go to the Throne on behave of another. You faithfully pray for others who ask, so why would we, the readers, not want to do the same for you.
You are His Hands and covered in His love.
Love,
Paula

Your heart to keep it all about Him is beautiful...but know that you aren't making things all about you by sharing with us. Others can see Him in how He is speaking to you and how He is moving and working in your life. You ALWAYS point us to Him and demonstrate a life surrendered at His feet.

All you have to do is keep doing what you are doing...pursue and obey. He will let you know what to share and what not to. And we can pray for you no matter how much or how little you share. He can take our prayers and perfect them for you. He's so awesome.

I am praying for you, Nichole. And don't forget, Jesus sits at the right hand of the Father interceding for you...and He knows all of the details!
Love to you,
K

Nicole, This is the first time I've read your blog...your pic. with the shoes caught my attention on one of Joy's comments... :)
I'm praying for you dear sister...
Matthew 18:19 "Again, I tell you that if two of you on earth agrees about anything you ask for, it will be done for you by my Father in Heaven." That verse came to my mind to share with you.

I've watched the pain Joy has been through, and I have to tell you, that through her openness, she's has caused me to feel closer to God. Joining together in prayer draws us closer to God. It gives us a chance to share the load with our fellow believers. It makes it clear to those watchicng us, that we are trusting in God rather than in ourselves, that we are looking to Him for our solutions and not to our own flesh.

What you are experiencing is exactly what my younger sister went through 3 years ago.

Prayers & Blessings,
Lori - Mesa, AZ

Nichole! He is holding you near and that is obvious in your willingness to share when prompted and to lean in and listen for His voice. Please know that your friends (both those that are close enough to hug you and those who send their hugs here) are part of God's plan too, we will pray you through this. Our prayers and His faithfulness don't rely on details, only love and faith! We've got that. You take care of yourself and know that we are "here" for you when you are able to be here.

Nicole, I felt led to share again.
Nothing happens by happenstance in our lives. I've watched my sister for the past 3 years and have totally seen how God has been there for her. He's taken care of her every step of the way, just like I know He will for you. I even saw last Friday God at work. I will be praying specifics for you. Wisdom to be over the doctor's in diagnosing quickly, but accurately. I pray that you will have a calmness and peacefulness knowing that you are God's child. He knows what is best for you and will take care of you every step of the way. There is nothing He can not do.

Praying for you,
Lori - Mesa, AZ
PS If I had a blog, I'd like to do a picture with shoes too! :)
I'm just getting the hang of posting comments!
