Friday Challenge

Update: Oops...now you all know how left-handed, blonde, hormonal, emotional and female I can be. Hey I was excited about Friday...so excited I celebrated a day early by posting the Friday Challenge on Thursday...thanks to my friend Kimberly for so gracefully participating..and loving me!

Happy Friday everyone! Thank you for stopping by the blog. It's always a treat for me to read your comments...I learn so much from you! It also gives me a 'link' back to your blog and I get to come check out your lives...much fun!

Today's challenge will actually be easy for some and hard for others.

Friday Challenge leave your prayer request(s) in the comments.

Please know that I will lift up each one and take them to our Jesus. Trusting and knowing He will work out all the details to bring glory and honor to the situation! He is amazing friends, and He cares deeply about you. He sees your heart and He knows what concerns you. Please feel free to leave them anonymously.

It is such an honor and privelege to get to pray with and for you. Thank you for blessing me with the opportunity.

May you truly know deep in your heart that you are loved by the Creator!

Nichole, my prayer request (and the Lord knows how much I need it!) is to be a better example of Jesus and live my life out loud for Him. I want to live a life worthy of my Savior. I am struggling to remember that lately.

Hi Nicole,
My husband Mike's Chaplain Application package is finally complete and will be presented to the Army Chaplain selection board on Feb. 9th. It has been a years long journey and is still not over. The board will only select the top 60% of all the applicants. Please pray that God will grant Mike favor in the eyes of the board that he may be selected to become a chaplain of the U.S. Army.
Our hearts yearn to serve our nation and these men and when so willing to protect it!

Oh Larissa...what a treat to have you here! I get the amazing pleasure of getting to know you more!

Dear Jesus You see and hear the heart of Your beautiful daughter Larissa...she SO desires to be all Yours. Remind her of who You are and what it is You do so well, and that is give us grace and lavish us with love. Jesus will You whisper to Larissa's heart today in a very personal and initmate way, that all she truly needs "to do" to live out loud for You...is to BE in relationship with You. Oh Jesus, hug her and hold her tight, she is beautiful and created in Your most amazing image. Love on her Jesus, Amen

Nichole, my spirit wants to glorify God, but my flesh is so strong and seeks the glory for me. Please pray that I will fully die to my flesh and do EVERYTHING for the glory of God, alone!

Good morning Karen, thank you for your willingness to share your heart! As I read your words I am comforted in knowing that I don't struggle alone! So I am more than honored to pray with you on this, as I personally know how much of a struggle this is!

Dear Jesus, thank you for Karen and her beautiful ministry inside her home and out. She is the real thing...she is living out the process of a grace and loved filled relationship with You. Lord may we know truly in the deepest parts of our hearts that we have to come completely empty before You...for it is when we are empty that You Lord can fill us. Fill us with the power, strength, energy, love, grace, and patience we need to live out Your will and purpose for our lives. Oh Lord Your daugther Karen is so amazing, continue to mold her and shape her into even MORE of Your image! Thank You Jesus we love You, for You alone are holy and perfect and what a privelege it is to be known by You! Amen

You are so sweet!I wish you lived down the street!!

I need prayer for this Sunday school lesson that I'm preparing for Sunday--yes, I waited until the last minute, but I work best like this! It's on the Sermon on the Mount. I need God's wisdom and need his guidance in which direction to go with this. BTW, this is MY class...big people! Not cute little kindergarteners!!
Thanks so much, Nichole!
Hugs!

Thank you so much for being so open and willing to lift up the request of strangers. I will also be praying for all the request listed before me. However, my request is for an upcoming women's conference. I ask for prayer for all the women that will be attending, that teir hearts will be open to whatever the Lord will want to teach them. I also desire your prayers for the three ladies that will be speaking (myself included- it is my first speaking event). That we will only glorify God and that no praise will be accepted for ourselves only for Him that has worked in us.

I love your beautiful heart!!!! You were so excited about praying for others that you ended up posting early. :) Too sweet. :)

Please pray for my friend Tina and her baby Anna Grace. Anna Grace had to have surgery on her heart right after she was born and has been in the hospital over 4 weeks now. She is making good progress right now. If she will do well drinking out of a bottle, she may actually be released early next week. She still has a long way to go, more surgeries she will need, and they are concerned about one of her kidneys right now, too.
Her mommy, my friend Tina, is an amazing woman of God...but she and her husband are WORN out right now.

Thanks for your beautiful heart. And know that you can shoot me prayer requests any time!
Love you,
K

Oh Susan...I am in the coolest Bible Study right now titled Set Apart by Jennifer Kennedy Dean its on the Beatitudes. And so far the coolest revealation I have gotten...is that Jesus was sharing His heart on that mountain top...He was revealing what His heart looked like in the Beatitudes and promising that He could and would make ours like it too!
Dear Jesus...encourage Susan, and fill her with all she needs to share You on Sunday to the 'big people' in her SS class. Thank You for Susan and all she does to make this world shine for You. Amen

Nichole, Thank you so much for being available to pray for others.
My request is for my cousin, Michael, who has cirrohsis of the liver. He needs to lose weight to be considered for a liver transplant. He's been through a lot but because of all that has happened in his life he sought help through a church and gave his heart to the Lord. He lives in Colorado and I haven't seen him since he was a little boy but we have gotten acquainted throug the internet. His Dad is my only living uncle and he's not well either.

I also need prayer for some physical problems but that is in God's hands. My desire is to see my cousin healed in whatever way God decides. My cousin told me that if he should leave this world to rejoice. What a testimony. I also had the privlige to pray with him by phone a couple weeks ago.

May God bless you for what you are doing.

Nichole, There is a very urgent request for the sister of Alleluiablelle at Humable as I go.
Here is the link to her site http://alleluiabelle.blogspot.com/ where she has posted the problems her sister is having. I'm sure she would greatly appreciate your visit and prayer for her sister and anyone else who would like to visit her and let her know you are praying also. She and other members of her family are in great need of prayer. Her plate is overflowing right now but she is so humble (a lot like you).
Thanks,
AliceE.

And thank you so much for the prayer for my cousin, uncle and me.

Well, Nichole, you were a day early and I'm a day late! Yikes, it's Sat.-the week just flew right by me! I'd be honored if you would pray that I'd continue with the desire that only God would grant to me, to serve my mother with love and compassion. God is giving me glimpses of how He sees her and it's drawing the two of us closer and closer. Also, for my youngest teenager. Dave and I need all the wisdom God can grant.

Hugs to you & know that you were lifted up this morning on my prayer walk, too. Love, Lori

I pray for Lori heart to truly feel and sense Your presence. I pray for wisdom, and discernment in their household as parents. Father fill Lori to overflowing, she comes to be filled and knows only You give what she was created for! Praise Your Holy Name for the amazing relationships You are designing in Lori's life. I praise You Lord for the work You are doing in and through Lori, she truly shines You in this world. She is so beautiful. Thank You Jesus for blessing my life with her commitment to encourage me and pray for me. Hug her for me! We love You Jesus, Amen

Nichole, I just love your heart.

My prayer request would be for my nephew and his ex-wife. Both are making decisions outside of God's will. My nephew has remarried and is operating an immoral "business". His ex-wife, a professing Christian, has just today announced that she is moving in with another man. Praying God will intervene.

What can I pray for you?
Love, prayers and hugs,
Joy

Hello Joy, its so great to see your smiling face..and feel the warmth of your heart from such a distance! You are a beautiful assest to this world!

Dear Jesus thank You for the great caring heart You have created in Joy. She cares very deeply and grieves over the things that make You sad Lord. We pray together for her nephew and his ex-wife, knowing only You can bring the light that is needed in their darkness. I pray Lord that You surround them with people and opportunities that Shine Your light brightly. I pray for protection over hearts and minds. And again we know and trust You to fulfill the works You have started in them. We love You Lord, Amen.

Joy thank you for asking, I am learning so much in this season of my life. I have many 'new' roles and feel very blessed. My prayer request would be to remain living in the priorities He has created for me, my relationship with Him, my relationship with my husband, my relationship with my boys, and then my ministry. Thank you Joy for your love, encouragement and prayers, they are greatly appreciated! Hugs to you!

Dear Heavenly Father, I thank You for my precious friend Nichole. Lord, how I love her heart for You and her longing to live her life in the center of the priorities You have placed before her. Father I pray You will use her in all areas of ministry. Lord, help her become the wife her husband will cherish, the mother her sons need, the humble servant You desire for her ministry role, and above all a Christ-like child who is becoming more and more like her Father every day. Thank You Lord for the way You are using her and blessing her life. Continue to draw her closer to You, that she may know You deeper and love You more. In Your precious Name I pray, Amen.
