Let's Get This Party Started

I just love to have a party, go to a party, or even hear about a party. I love to laugh, celebrate, be around people, and of course eat yummy food!

We have many reasons to celebrate here at our house this week. Steve (my better half) successfully passed with flying colors his check ride on Saturday and is now an official Private Pilot. Way to go Babe!

Our oldest is turning four this Saturday, and he is anxiously awaiting his big boy bike. Don’t tell him, but mommy and daddy are anxiously waiting to give it to him. I am so excited to see his face! Happy Birthday Ty!

My own personal reason to celebrate is that I have been so blessed by so many women here in blog land. I have read and visited SO many incredible blogs. There are a ton of truly amazing women who are living their lives on purpose. And you know me…I am all about being on purpose! So I am inviting you to visit their websites today and spread this party around. We need to be celebrating life together. We need to be sharing each other’s special moments. We also need to be lifting each other up.

Okay so here it is the start of a "Blog Party". I am inviting you to visit these incredible blogs, and to pass them on to your blog friends and just keep this invite going. We are going to celebrate life with each other. Yeah!

Nicki at http://threegirlygirlz.blogspot.com/ She is being an obedient daughter and letting God use her to tell other women that they are beautiful. Beautiful because God created them! Please visit her and pray for her Bible Study.

Samantha at http://www.thelistenerspost.blogspot.com/ She is an awesome writer who will always put a smile on your face and usually have you laughing. Please go visit her site and walk away with a smile!

Jami at http://livelaughlove5.blogspot.com/ She is not only my "soul mate" because she is also a lover of shoes, she is a real woman who lets you into to her real life! She is sharing the journey of her second adoption with us, please visit her and pray for the adoption process.

Mylah at http://www.joytoknow.com/ I had the awesome privelege of having lunch with her after the She Speaks conference in the Charolette airport and she truly is a Joy to Know (just like the title of her blog). Please go visit her and love on her!

Susan at http://scrunnermom.blogspot.com/ She is a runner and she finds God while running, does life get any better than that? Go visit her and check out her new blog design!

Pam at http://pinkshoelady.blogspot.com/ Seriously did you think I could not include a blog with the word "shoe" in the title. Pam is a beautiful definition of a woman so in love with God. Go checkout her blog and pass her on to all your friends.

May you be blessed by celebrating life with each other!

Girl, Do I feel blessed!

I love a good party. My husband teases me and says, "You could find the fun in prison couldn't you?" I would hope so...God would still be there! Besides when Paul and Silas threw a praise party the whole prison fell apart!

Seriously, I love you already! Your have an awesome heart, and you have an encouraging spirit.

I'm going to throw my blog party tomorrow because my family needs me to go cook supper and play games tonight.

That reminds me of a quick prayer request: My daughter who is nine and too friendly with her enemy "Fear" is afraid of the "Scene It" games. We don't know why. She wants to play the game and wants to conquer this fear. She has asked us to play it with her tonight. My husband and I love the game, but we don't play it because she has been scared.
Pray that she will conquer this fear of this game and enjoy the time together. Pray that we will be wise and sensitive to her as we play. Pray we will all have fun!

Thanks my friend,
I love you bunches more!

You are just too precious! I love parties too!! Woohoo! Thanks for highlighting my blog!

What wonderful things you have to celebrate in your family! Tell hubby to be safe up there in the clouds!

Oh, to be 4 again! Those were some fun b'day parties for my sons! That's such a great age.

And most of all, I thank God for your sweet spirit that shines in your writing. I would have loved to have met you at She Speaks! Will you be going again next year? I am going to start praying about it soon.

I need to work on next week's Bible study of the P31 Woman. We are having a ball in that class! I can't wait to see what God is going to do next.

Love ya,
Susan

I just read the comment that you went to She Speaks. I know it was awesome. I had the privilege of going in '06 and loved it. I know it's totally different feel now that they have bloggers there. People are "meeting" when they feel like they have already known each other. They didn't have that 2 years ago. Glad to have found you....here's to be "on purpose."

Congrats to your private pilot hubby. What an accomplishment!

4 is such a precious age. It will be so fun for you to see his face as you give him his bike.

Thanks for sharing those other blogs. If you like them, I'm sure I will too. I'll be sure to check them out.

How fun! I just happened upon your blog today and won't be blogging much this or next week because I am moving, but I'll book mark you and be back for sure.

Ok, I just found out that my post didn't show its picture this morning, and therefore the whole thing didn't make sense...oh well. So much learning to do in this new blog venture. It's fixed now.:)

Thank you so much for your prayer for Zoie.

She would like to say something to you so here she is:

Thanks for praying for me. Go God! I conquered my fear. First I didn't think I was going to make it. I was last most of the game. Then I caught up and WON! Go God! I felt so scared at first, but when I won I was amazed. That night I truly conquered my fear. Quess what? I will play it again!

Thanks again,
Isaiah 43 girl Zoie

Wow, you really touched her with your prayer.

Thanks so much!
